ADMISSION

Join us for our new class series taught by longtime artist and teacher Sue Beardsley!

In this class you will learn about abstraction and using it to create interest. You will also work with objects in and out of context to create your own reality from familiar shapes and colors.

Approximately the first hour will consist of a demonstration of the method followed by a practice period. In the remaining time, you can refine your newly learned technique and take advantage of the advise and experience Sue has in art and design.

No experience necessary; beginners are encouraged to attend! Everyone can learn to paint!

Please bring your own painting tools including:

  1. 11" X 17" (preferably larger) 140lbs cold-press watercolor paper
  2. Pencil, eraser, and straightedge or ruler
  3. Brushes, #8 at the minimum
  4. Water container
  5. Paint (school watercolor set will suffice; https://www.amazon.com/Artecho-Watercolor-Non-Toxic-Students-Beginners/dp/B0BWRCKFDH)

We will meet in the lobby
