ADMISSION

This is an introduction to welding targeted at people with no prior experience with welding or metalworking.  We'll talk about general safety, preparing parts for welding, and using one of Xerocraft's MIG welders.

The primary goal is for students to leave with a basic familiarity with the process- in particular, how to recognize a less-than-ideal weld and what they should do differently to make the next one better.

All welding-specific safety equipment will be provided.  Long pants, long sleeves, and closed toed shoes are strongly recommended.

NOTICE: ALL Minors Must have a parent present for this class

This class includes the use of potentially hazardous tools and/or materials. Any students under age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present with them at the class, and have signed an injury waiver for the underage student. The instructor may choose not to permit a student to participate at their discretion.
