ADMISSION

Watch a demo on how to stamp out  a copper pin using a hydraulic press and how to solder a pin back to the shape.  Then we will teach you how to enamel the pin.  Enameling is the process of putting ground glass on a piece of metal and heating the piece until the glass fuses on.  You will choose a pin shape, and enamel colors.  We will show you how to put on the enamel and how to use a kiln to  heat the piece to fusing temperature. (about 2 min in the kiln). You will do this process several times until you are happy with your results. At the end you will have at least one pin finished and perhaps two depending on how quickly you work.

No experience is needed and all tools and supplies will be provided.

Just come and have a fun afternoon!

Age Requirement: Adults or minors (12-16) accompanied by an adult. are welcome.
