"Glass fusing is the process of using a kiln to join together pieces of glass."

Learn to cut pieces of glass into various shapes. Using the glass you have cut and some powdered glass in various colors, you will create a  a 6"x 6" design. This design will be placed in a programmable kiln and heated to about 1450 degrees.  After the now fused flat piece of glass is cool, it will be placed in a ceramic mold and heated in a 1200 degree kiln until the glass takes on the shape of the mold.  This process is called slumping.  The following week on Sat (1-4pm) or a later date, your finished project can be picked up at the jewelry studio.

No previous glass experience is needed and all tools and materials will be provided.

Cost:  Xerocraft member $35  Non Member $40
