In session 2, we'll introduce you to Arduino and begin exploring its different input and output options for sensing and responding to the environment. Our first sensor will be a simple potentiometer to control the blink rate of an LED through the use of voltage dividers. We'll also explore how to use pulse-width modulation for setting LED brightness. We'll conclude with an exploration of libraries for controlling neopixels. Minimum two hours and completion of Session 1 or equivalent knowledge, and a laptop with the Arduino IDE installed. Arduinos will be loaned to those that don't have one, and you get to keep the a short strand of neopixels for future projects.
