ADMISSION

This class is a part of a two-part series. Purchasing a ticket for this class will pay for and register you for both sessions.

Session 1 is an introduction to DC circuits for those with little or no background in electronics. We’ll go over the very basics of a breadboard, power supply, volts, current, and resistance. This is foundational knowledge for session 2 where we will learn about using an Arduino for writing programs that interact with the real world.

Here's a video prepared by the instructor for someone who needs a quick introduction to Arduino:

All the materials you need will be loaned for the class, including an Arduino, battery box, breadboard, batteries, LEDs, jumpers, etc. These materials are available for purchase for an additional cost.

We do ask that you please come to the session with a laptop and the free Arduino software installed which is available at:
https://www.arduino.cc/en/software/

This class will set you up with everything you need to complete session 2 on June 29 - see description of this video for further details:

Minimum 2 hours, but I'll stay longer to answer questions or do a deeper dive on topics as needed.
