ADMISSION

In this three-hour class, you will learn to drill to a specific depth, use a boring bar to create a specific inner diameter (ID) and final depth, face, cut an exact outer diameter (OD) and part off the part. All work will be in aluminum and you will take home a 3in X 1.5in fully machined cylindrical oil cup.

A second step to cut an angled brush holder notch will be taught using the mill and sine bar, time permitting.

Note:

You must have taken the Xerocraft Introduction to Metal Lathe course - or demonstrate working knowledge of the Logan 912 lathe - before taking this course.

This class may only be taught once a quarter; if the scheduled time does not work for you and you want to attend, please contact the instructor Geoff at geoffs@xerocraft.org
