Sat, Jan. 30 9am: CNC router class now also a user group meeting!

CNC router classes on the Shark or Handibot are scheduled Saturdays through Jan. 30, subject to instructor availability. We also invite those who've taken a CNC router class from Liam or Mike R. to come back & join the new classes, as a user group. (Alumni attendance free for Xerocraft members, $5 for non-members.) Help the new folks and see what we've learned since the time you took the class, but the priority will be on bringing new users up to speed.

Each week, the first hour will be dedicated to giving new students hands-on experience clamping the work piece, changing bits, and zeroing the axes in the Control Panel. Then we'll move into 2D tool path creation in Aspire or Vcarve Pro, and some coverage of 3D jobs in Cut3D if time permits. We may also experiment with new materials.
