Sunday, Jan 24 at 6pm: KMKR One Year Anniversary Powwow

WHERE: The classroom at Xerocraft Hackerspace, 101 West 6th Street

It was one year ago this month that Xerocraft Hackerspace received the construction permit from the FCC to build an LPFM station in downtown Tucson. That means we only have six months left to get our signal on the air or else we lose our permit! Were well into fundraising but there is still much to do.

On Sunday at 6pm we will hold a powwow at Xerocraft to discuss what remains to be done to get Your DiY Station on the Tucson airwaves!

Please come with ideas, questions, concerns and energy!

For those who don't know, Xerocraft is continuing the fundraising for our very own legal, FCC approved Low Power FM radio station!

To help get the word out, we are releasing a set of videos highlighting the equipment your donations will purchase. In our first video we discuss a very important and visible piece of hardware: the broadcast antenna!
