The shop managers are always working hard to outfit the shop with the highest possible quality machines.

In this aim, we recently dug deep into our reserves and purchased a Takisawa Royal TSL-800D engine lathe in excellent condition. The Takisawa has greatly increased capabilities over our current Logan engine lathe, including

• metric and SAE threading
• variable feeds
• a more powerful motor
• flood coolant capability.
• enhanced safety features including a full emergency stop.

This lathe is truly fully fledged and will allow you to do just about any operation a lathe can do!

Expect expanded course offerings and an advanced lathe class in the near future!
