Go-Kart build

Back in college I had a class.... a very unique class. It was my "Engineering Ethics" class.... except all we did was get into two teams and design + build a go-kart to race at the end of the year. Needless to say, it was my favorite class!
Ever since, I've been wanting a custom go-kart of my own!

Plus, I have future plans for a community-wide go-kart build/race event. And I need an example custom go-kart for inspiration.

After sketching up ideas I decided it wasn't below me to just use someone elses design from online. So I'll be making this frame (also in the photo above):
