Hawks, My Hero Academia Animatronic Wings

Hawks from my Hero is a dream cosplay of mine. I used a square aluminum tubing for the framework. Feathers are individually articulated along the frame and are made from wire and broadcloth. Aluminum plate was laser cut to create the back brace. Linear actuators move the frame. A 2 channel remote was used to signal the wings to open or close. Real feathers were dyed sewn to a cover to hide the framework and electronics. 

My friend had already created the costume, but not the wings, and I made the wings, but not the costume, so she is the one in the photos.
