ADMISSION
In this class you'll learn the basics of designing leather projects in Lightburn, cutting leather on the laser cutter and basic hand stitching. Each student will make a small leather project (a card case).
If you have a laptop with Lightburn installed, feel free to bring it and work through the project while I teach it. If you're interested in buying Lightburn at a discount, contact boss.laser@xerocraft.org.
- Leather and materials are provided.
- Students should be prepared to take notes.
Prior Laser certification is not required, but students should be aware that basic Lightburn and laser operations are NOT part of this class.
Taking the Introduction to the Laser Cutter & Lightburn class is a good idea for inexperienced students.
We will meet in the downstairs classroom area and then move up to the Laser Shop
