ADMISSION
Single classes available every Wednesday (with some holiday exceptions) from November 2021 through March 2022, you can learn from Xerocraft’s favorite sewing teacher, Cindy Quinn. Use a Xerocraft sewing machine or you can bring in your own.
$5 per evening for non-members, free for members. Online registration required. Maximum 4 people any one Wednesday. Your registration reserves your spot for any specific Wednesday.
On your first visit you learn the Fundamental of Sewing, sizing, and purchase decisions for fabric/thread. In addition, you learn how to select appropriate fabric and provide Cindy (instructor) with specific measurements of your chest, waist, and hips, as well as the length you desire. She’ll calculate the yardage you need and send you fabric shopping! Finally, she sends you home with a homework assignment for your next class = pre-wash your fabric. This requirement greatly increases your next class cutting the fabric a success.

#1 for Beginners.
You learn sewing by making a bathrobe, an excellent project for those new to sewing or trying to resuscitate your old hobby.
You receive personal instruction to work at your own pace. In the past, most competed their robe in six to eight weeks.
#2 for Intermediate sewing skills
A new project with set-in sleeves (think dress-shirt-ish styles), buttonholes, and/or zipper installations. I urge you to select a project with only 2 of the 3! Ideally, you should submit the pattern manufacturer/number in advance so I can uncover any potential “landmines” in difficulty before you make a fabric purchase, but I’ll leave that to your judgement. You can also use Xerocraft's donated patterns.

Cindy Quinn, your instructor, requires students wear a MASK. Cindy wears one as well and received her third Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine back in November.
