If there's one word to sum up 2022 at the Steinfeld Warehouse, it's "construction". It's everywhere. It's literally all around us and in our own back yard!

The Downtown Links road improvement project is a massive years-long venture to reroute traffic and the train. The roads on all sides of us are being worked on, and some are closed. Free parking has also changed. To find the best routes through the road construction and safe parking locations, consult the maps below.

If you'd like to learn more about the Downtown Links Project and get news, tips, and maps regarding the construction, visit downtownlinks.info. Check out their Downtown Alerts section for updates on traffic changes.

There's also massive remodeling work going on in our back yard, which impacts parking in that area. See our parking updates page for more info.

Roadway Closure: 6th Street, from Stone Ave to Church Ave, has closed to all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle travel. Download the closure map PDF here.

Free Parking, Loading/Unloading, Back Yard and Dirt Lot Parking

Parallel parking out front is restricted! Parking in back yard might be difficult

Outside the Steinfeld Warehouse, the road is completely torn up. 9th Ave is currently a rough gravel road. Free parking is available on the compacted gravel area on the east side of N 9th St, south of the fire hydrant. Consult the map above and our parking updates page for more information.

Parallel parking on 9th is now restricted to temporary use of our loading lock to load or unload only.

The back yard of the Steinfeld Warehouse is also available for limited parking and loading/unloading. The back yard is accessible from Perry Ave (via N Church Ave). This area can fit 4 to 6 cars at a time. But you may be asked to move by other people using the area. The back yard is only accessible by turning north onto Perry Ave from N Church Ave. The back yard gate may be locked depending on when you arrive. If you can't find anyone who knows the lock combination, you will not be able to park there. See the access map, above. Update 2022-12-28: The back yard is undergoing massive renovation and parking there may be restricted or prohibited.

There's also the dirt lot west of our building and N Perry Ave. This is an active construction zone. We recommend you park as far northeast of the lot as possible, toward the closed section of W 6th St and Perry Ave. Please park no farther south than the tree. Please do not block our dumpster.
