Narcan nasal spray now available at Xerocraft

We now have Narcan (Naloxone) nasal spray available at the front desk. Narcan is an opioid overdose treatment. Although we've never heard of an opioid overdose around the Steinfeld Warehouse, we know that in the event of an overdose, prompt administration of Narcan might save a life. 

A common misconception about Narcan is that the nasal spray will not work on people who aren't breathing. That is incorrect. Narcan is absorbed through the sinus tissue and gets into the bloodstream regardless. Please follow the instructions on the box when administering. Call 911 if you suspect an overdose.

You will find two boxes of 2-pack nasal sprays in the bottom drawer on the right side of the front desk.
