New Sander Dust Collection

The wood shop now has new shop vac adapters for the Festool Sanders. 

It is SUPER important to always use a shop vac with these sanders because the air flow helps cool the hook and loop pad on the sander. Failing to use a shop vac can overheat the pad and cause it to fail.

The blue hose and adaptors are easy to use and can be found in the sanding tool cabinet. Please note that the tool side of the hose has two tabs that you press in to attach and detach the hose from the tool.  (See Photos)

These are terrific sanders and we're fortunate to have these quality tools.
