Susan has been a machine knitter since 1996.She tried hand knitting but decided there had to be a faster way.  Being an industrial engineer, she searched for a machine and purchased her first machine in Aurora, CO.  She has been an instructor at the KnitCraft machine knitting seminars in Kansas City and has published patterns.  She especially likes machine knitting because there seems to be no end to the different looks one can create.  Susan spends every free minute concocting or knitting the next project.  Susan uses her machines to knit almost everything.But she mostly knits socks, blankets, slippers, and sweaters of her own design.  She recently retired from Hallmark Cards and now spends half of her time in Tucson, AZ where her son lives, and the other half in Kansas City where her daughter lives. 

Susan’s mission is to create and feed passion in others for machine knitting.  Hopefully her classes will pass along some encouragement and motivation on to you!
