  3. Don: People may use simpler tools thinking they can handle them.
  4. Leave unstaffed shops closed during Open Hacks?
  5. Bob notices unsafe use of tools often. We need monitors. Jewelry Shop is shut down when there are no staffers.
  6. Ed: List of certified members?
  7. Bob and Harvey prefer not to do long safety orientation to non-members.
  8. Shop monitors required in Wood Shop,
  9. Patrick: If there’s no staff then there’s no one there to check for certifications.
  10. Patrick: Review the name “Open Hack”?
  11. John: Shut shops down for uncertified attendees?
  12. Geoff requests a staffer for the Machine Shop. He volunteers!
  13. Frank can volunteer one Saturday a month for Laser cutter.
  14. Ed: Extend safety eyewear stations to welding/blacksmithing area
  15. Bob: Table saws: Can we sell the saw in the basement? If that happens, we will need some help moving the Jet saw to replace it.
  16. Should there be a table saw in the basement?
  17. Ed: Wood Shop extension in basement?
  18. Not anytime soon due to bad floor and lack of proper electricity.
  19. The plan is to sell the old table saw, then move the Jet table saw downstairs and set it up.
  20. Then we’ll address extension tables
  21. John volunteered to sell it.
  22. Mike R might have a ramp that can help move things down the ramp to the basement. Ramp is in the backyard, south of the shed.
  23. At least 3 volunteers needed.
  24. Ethan and Jeremy can move it Saturday. Jeremy will get a couple more volunteers

  27. Candi will look into it.

  30. Matt R sold a microscope recently and handled the shipping.
  31. Xerocraft has a eBay account
