• Geoff: Free wrenches from Machine Shop will be on Free Stuff shelf
• Tom W leaves May 14.
• Deb D, David K, Fred F, Curt P, and Jeremy B painted the walls and cleaned the floor of the main room last week. The north wall and the basement staircase will also be painted soon.

1. John N: Donation of money toward a new sliding miter/bevel saw
2. The very nice 12” saw broke. We have a 10” there now. 
3. A member will pay money toward purchase of a new saw.
4. New saw will be over $500, requires Board approval
5. Katherine: They come up in estate sales sometimes
6. Bob F: The extra capacity of the 12” saw was nice. But the 10” saw is inherently safer. New saws can break quickly, too. How often do we really need a 12” saw? We should put some consideration into it before buying. 
7. Wood Shop Managers will discuss it.
8. Bob F: We can keep the 10” saw in use in another area.

13. Too much stuff in basement that’s not getting used
14. John N will move the 2x4s and label them. 
15. Jeremy will talk to Matt about the vacuum former
16. The wood shaper is kind of dangerous.
17. Power is also an issue in that area, particularly for 240V
18. Geoff: People like to loan us things and he would like to be more critical of what equipment we receive. 
19. Steve W: We shouldn’t accept loaned tools. If we do, there should be a written agreement with a renewal deadline.
20. Katherine: If we have a loaned tool, we should have classes so we know they exist. We can use it to figure out if we should buy our own. 
21. Don and Jeremy will work on the loan agreement document.
22. John N: Chairs
23. John N thinks we should get rid of the chairs under the basement staircase, clean it up, and use it as storage. We currently have 2 wheeled desk chairs and 6-8 4-legged (not folding) chairs
24. Jeremy: extra chairs can be moved on south loft. 
25. John N is weary of moving heavy items up the south loft staircase
26. Some 4-legged chairs can be gotten rid of. 
27. Steve would like to keep 3-4 4-legged chairs for a table in his area.
28. Jeremy will move the extra chairs to the south loft
