Alexis Broader Community Engagement? Talked to Kyle... Interested in moving forward with broader community engagement. How can we facilitate this? How might we facilitate a single shop Open House day? Shop managers would need to staff their shop to ensure there aren't people accessing other shops.
Harvey: Why did we open in the first place?
Alexis: Originally had a tool library, intent was to support the community Open hacks suggested donations initially worked but then fell off. Members supported open hacks by being present. Look for opportunities to allow more people into the space on a limited basis.
John: Whatever you do, consider staffing.
Patrick: Blacksmith Shop has an open forge every other week. It doesn't require membership.
