We now have 3-phase power. We tried to hook the Oliver lathe up to 3-phase but it turns out those parts are lost.
Steve W came up with an electrical wiring diagram and a plan to restore it to 3-phase.
Bob will work on a cost estimate and a plan. Some parts will require fabricating.
Adrian B: F2 Ultra fiber laser cutter demo
xTool Squad: To become a squad member, you have to own or have access to a xTool machine. Adrian wants to set it up that no matter who demonstrates the xTool, the proceeds will go to Xerocraft.
Adrian also has his own M1 fiber laser cutter he can bring.
Adrian is going to assist a member with her copper project.
xTool sent us trinkets for members to engrave.
We’re working on adding the rotary tool upgrade.
We’re working on teaching instructors who will begin helping members with their projects soon.
The fiber laser has more settings than the CO2 laser cutters and is more complicated.
Adrian B: Donated laser cutter
A former member wants to donate a 50W CO2 desktop laser cutter (20x12in) with a rotary attachment, integrated air assist and chiller. It all works except for the camera. We don’t plan to keep it.
